Biography
An East Bay native, Dr. de Crescenzo returns to Northern California after completing advanced surgical training at several of the nation's leading academic medical centers across the country. After earning an undergraduate degree in Anthropology and Linguistics from UCLA, Dr. de Crescenzo served with the AmeriCorps working with seventh grade students in the Oakland Unified School District, thus strengthening her connection to the community she now proudly returns to serve.
Dr. de Crescenzo subsequently earned her medical degree from the University of California, Davis School of Medicine before completing General Surgery residency training at Massachusetts General Hospital. During residency, she pursued dedicated professional development in quality improvement, healthcare access and outcomes research, and translational science focused on advancing the delivery of high-quality surgical care. She then completed fellowship training in Vascular Surgery at the University of Washington in Seattle, where she developed expertise in the treatment of complex vascular disease and the comprehensive care of vascular surgery patients.
