Dr. Jade Hiramoto announced as UCSF Department of Surgery's New Vice Chair for Clinical Affairs

Dr. Jade Hiramoto is our new Vice Chair for Clinical Affairs in the Department of Surgery! In her role as Vice Chair for Clinical Affairs, Dr. Hiramoto will work closely with the Department Chair and Division Chiefs to promote high-quality, efficient, and accessible patient care within the growing UCSF Health system. Her experience in hospital leadership positions will help foster important partnerships between the surgical services and UCSF Health and assist with strategic development. She will work closely with the other vice-chairs to promote an atmosphere of collaboration, teamwork, inclusion, and engagement to develop shared visions and productive working relationships.
